At the Parents' Information Day, immigrant families receive important information about schools, learning aids and educational opportunities for their children, from school enrolment to graduation.

You will receive answers to questions such as: What does school readiness mean? Which schools are there in Constance? Which is the right school for my child? How can my child be ideally supported? Which school-leaving certificate can my child get at which school? What is a vocational school?

Parents can talk to experts from various educational institutions as well as specially trained, multilingual parent mentors about their questions from school enrolment to graduation. The following languages can be offered: Albanian, Arabic, Bulgarian, Croatian, English, German, Italian, Kurdish, Persian (Farsi), Polish, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Turkish and Ukrainian.

Some educational institutions are represented with an information stand and offer parents direct contact for discussions. The Centre for Multilingualism will also be present with flyers on the topic of “Multilingualism: Tips for parents” in various languages.

Childcare will be available for children and foods and drinks will be provided.
