On the 4th and 5th April 2024, the Centre for Multilingualism is hosting the workshop and seminar “Multilingualism in Research and Assessment in HEIs” organised by the ECSPM in honouring its role as a member of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment Agreement (CoARA) Multilingualism WorkGroup (WG).

The lecture series "The Multilingual Mind" will start on the 31th of October 2023 and will run until February 2024. The lectures will take place on some tuesdays from 17.00 until 18.30 in room R512 (University of Konstanz).

Every two weeks, one of the world’s estimated 7,000 languages dies. Yet what are the consequences of having to give up one’s native language?

The lecture series "The Multilingual Mind" will start on the 8th of November 2022 and will run until January 2023. The lectures will take place every Tuesday from 17.00 until 18.30 (CET/UTC+01).

The Association of Multiple Sclerosis in Madrid published an interview about a recent study on Multiple sclerosis and bilingualism that was conducted by a consortium of researchers from Spain, the United Kingdom, and Germany, including members of the Centre for Multilingualism at the University of Konstanz Germany.

After more than three years, the MultiMind project is coming to an end. We are delighted to announce that for this occasion we are organising the final project conference to present the main findings of the project. The conference will take place from 27-29 June 2022 in a hybrid format in Konstanz, Germany.

The lecture series "The Multilingual Mind: Online lecture series on multilingualism across disciplines" will start on the 2nd of November 2021 and will run until February 2022. The lectures will take place every Tuesday from 17.00 until 18.30 (CET/UTC+01).
